Church of the Transfiguration
The facade shows 3 sections... The left is for Moses, the right is for Elijah and the center is for Jesus. This reflects what is written in Matthew 17.

The transfiguration took place at the top of Mt Tabor. This is the view off the side of the church.

Is the inside of the church mosaic or hand painted with gold leaf? This church is my favorite so far...beautiful. K
